DevNQ Meetups are different; we strive to find high quality speakers, panellists and topics that are relevant for software developers, designers, founders, and entrepreneurs of all levels. We host monthly meetups where you can learn new things, network with professionals and make valuable industry contacts.

Code Club
Code Club provides opportunities for individuals to work on projects, learn from others, and solve programming problems together. Every Tuesday, participants get the chance to sharpen their skillsets, and get assistance with hard problems by working on projects in a social setting with other programmers of varying experience and skills. Code club attendees are welcome to bring along their own project, or find a collaborative project they can work on with others.

Student & Industry Meet and Greets
The transition into the workforce can be daunting for young programming professionals. DevNQ hosts Student and Industry Meet and Greets once a year, the goal of which is twofold: introduce aspiring developers into North Queensland's thriving technology ecosystem, and provide new opportunities for networking between current students and prospective employers.

Hackathons
At DevNQ Hackathons teams of individuals come together for an intense 24-hour period. They collaborate enthusiastically to invent new, innovative solutions to problems they’ve never seen before. Hackathons are fantastic opportunities for programmers to rediscover their playfulness, curiosity and passion for solving problems.
